- Reports on a ruling by the Louisiana Supreme Court which states that an obstetrician cannot sue a newspaper for defamation because he was named in an article about excessive Caesarean sections. Dismissal of a lawsuit filed by Alton Romero against the periodical `Daily Advertiser'; Romero's plan to make an appeal to the US Supreme Court.
