Toward a Context-Specific Definition of Social Justice for Social Work: In Search of Overlapping Consensus.

While the quest for social justice binds social workers to a common cause, its equivocal vision undermines unity and provokes inefficient--and even contradictory--practice. This paper sheds light on the intersection of widely-accepted social work tenets and multidisciplinary perspectives on justice and social responsibility.
