Abstract

This paper discussed underwater modem system design based on quaternary phase shift keying modulation and demodulation algorithm of spectrum communication technology. The modem system used low power consumption adsp-bf 533 chips as the core, adopted QPSK modulation and demodulation algorithm of spread frequency communication. This product could realize long distance and long term reliable underwater data communication. Underwater modem connected PC terminals through standard RS-232 communication interface for data transmiision between underwater devices and terminals. This product had low power consumption, high-integrated, software transplanted and strong of anti-interference advantage, etc, and met the future design direction of underwater communication.
