Abstract
- The article shows how libraries should meet and communicate with people and increase the level and quality of library services. The steps taken by the Brownsburg Public Library in Indiana to promote the services provided by the library among its patrons and to reach out to people in the community are highlighted. The initiatives employed to train and prepare library staff members to equip them to do effective outreach are described.
