Abstract
- Rapid polarization switching plays an important role in electron emission from the ferroelectric cathode. Two methods were used in the present paper to support the theory of rapid polarization switching for PLZT samples, namely X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The results show that the preferentially oriented domains in the poled samples are disturbed after ferroelectric emission, and a decrease in the 002 peak value and an increase in the 200 peak value were observed after electron emission.
