Abstract
- The article discusses a case of an 8-year-old Uygur girl who developed typical pain in her arm and shoulder and diagnosed with Pancoast's syndrome secondary to lobar pneumonia caused by Klebsiella pneumoniae. It cites the results of the physical examination and the treatment received by the patient. It also notes dramatic improvement in both clinical manifestation and radiological finding under the combination therapy of antibiotic (cefoperazone) and low-dose corticosteroid (dexamethasone).
