Mental Health of Youth in Hong Kong.

This paper attempts to explore the mental health problems of the youth in Hong Kong and presents some discussions on this subject. A model of holistic well-being is recommended to enhance the mental health of young people from physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and family-orientated perspectives. The latter part of this paper suggests the promotion of early intervention, community mental health education, and some preventive directions, such as policy advocation from family, education, medical, and social service perspectives.
