Fabrication of a new fluorescent polymeric nanoparticle containing naphthalimide and investigation on its interaction with bovine serum albumin.

Highlights: [•] A new fluorescent nanoparticle was developed by chemical crosslinking of PAA. [•] A dual hydroxyls naphthalimide compound acted as fluorescent crosslinker.
