Abstract
- Highlights: [•] Leptolyngbya foveolarum tolerated cartap up to 80ppm. [•] Low dose (20ppm) of cartap stimulated growth, photosynthetic pigments, photosynthesis and respiration. [•] Higher dose (40 and 60ppm) of insecticide inhibited same parameters. [•] Nitrogen assimilation was affected in dose dependent manner by cartap. [•] The organism lyzed in nitrogen depleted medium but survived when cartap was supplemented. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
