Abstract

The article reports on the structural changes in the U.S. baseball association Major League Baseball (MLB) announced by its executive Robert D. Manfred aimed at creating more efficient and effective investigative unit. It states that the decision follows the doping case of baseball player Alex Rodriguez which may result to elimination of some positions. It also notes the elimination of Daniel T. Mullin job as chief of the investigative unit which will be restructured. in 2014.
