- Highlights: [•] Meta-analysis of nitrification and urease inhibitors effect on crop yield and NUE. [•] DCD, DMPP and NBPT were selected for analysis. [•] Grand mean effect is 7.5% and 12.9% increase in crop yield and NUE respectively. [•] Their effectiveness was dependent on environmental and management factors.
