This paper discusses the vision of a recent Graduated in Fine Arts, who later attended the first Edition of the UPV Masters in Animation Degree. The paper reveals an actual and direct experience and it is aimed to future students intending to join the world of animation within the artistic framework. When animation is chosen as a means of expression, a number of skills are needed: drawing, timing, action, pantomime, imagination, etc. We were born with all the potential requirements, but some still must be polished; others must awake from their long slumber.
