Abstract

The article reports on the issuance of a Request for Information (RFI) by the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) for a ground-vehicle, active-protection, Hard Kill Counter Measure (HKCM) system. Among the technologies of interest are launchers and target-detection sensors. Several threats covered by the HKCM system RFI include tank-fired kinetic energy (KE) and artillery and mortar.
