Abstract

The article provides insights for libraries on creating an intellectual ecology with the use of digital technology. Topics discussed include the opportunities presented by the online classroom and the massive open online course (MOOC) for online library services, ways for getting involved in interface design for mobile computing, and software that libraries should learn to use such as HTML5, JavaScript and Drupal.
