Term Infant with Gallbladder Stone: a Case Report.

The article presents a case study of a two-day-old male who was born with gallbladder mud and stone. It describes the patient's condition whose mother had used high dose flaxseed oil capsules during pregnancy for seven months. It examines the possible causes of the formation of fetal gallbladder stones including smoking during pregnancy. The patient received phototherapy for indirect hyperbilirubinemia and was discharged from the hospital at 7-days-old without gallstones.
