Abstract

The article discusses a feasibility study and treatment outcome of a conditioning regimen with BCNU, etoposide, cytarabine and melphalan plus amifostine (BEAMaM) for autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT) outpatients with lymphoma. Topics include a list of inclusion criteria for the study, the experimental design, and a discussion of the study results, such as rehospitalization rates, severe mucositis in individuals receiving BEAM, and quality of life (QOL).
