The article explores how Palestinian cultural production in the occupied territories is embedded within the context of performance-based politics. It focuses on "The Gaza Mono-Logue" theater project, which highlights the relationship between spectatorship and a politics of recognition. It argues that the notion of cultural resistance becomes a part of the underlying logic of performance-based politics.
