Abstract
- The article discusses how voters in San Jose, California voted to continue the Library Parcel Tax (LPT) which helps fund the San Jose Public Library (SJPL). Topics include how SJPL receives most of its funding from San Jose's General Fund, how the LPT was due to expire in June 2015 but the continuation ensures it will stay in place until 2039, and comments from the director of SJPL, Jill Bourne.
