Abstract
- The article discusses the right related to cross-examination of individuals presenting victim impact statements in capital sentencing proceedings of Arizona. Topics discussed include Arizona's death penalty statute that denies defendants their Sixth Amendment rights, the U.S Supreme Court's treatment of victim impact testimony in cases such as Booth v. Maryland and Payne v. Tennesse and the general Confrontation Clause rights.
