Abstract
- Examines the ability of Fis, a highly abundant protein that binds to specific DNA sites, to bind to the dnaA promoter region. Differences in Fis affinity or the angle of bending induced by Fis; Fis as a repressor of DnaA protein expression; Transcriptional activity of the dnaA-dnaN-recF operon regulatory region.
