Abstract

Assesses the effects of glibenclamide (GLB), a blocker of ATP-sensitive potassium channel (KATP), and tetraethylammonium on modulating the regulation of diaphragmatic microcirculation in anesthetized mechanically ventilated rats. Recording of microcirculatory blood flow; Induction of hemorrhagic hypotension; Abolition of vasodilation effects.
