- Opinion. Examines the openings created by environmental policy reforms introduced along the Gambia River Basin focusing on the strategies rural Gambians have developed to manipulate these policies for personal gain. Demonstrations on how women market gardeners used usufruct rights to ease the economic impact of persistent drought conditions.
