Examines the formation of the scalemic aziridine molecules via the nucleophilic opening of aziridines. Protection of the free hydroxyl as a tert-butyldimethylsilyl ether; Formation of the arizidine ring via a Mitsunobu reaction; Preparation of the aziridine with an R configuration by an alternate route.
