Abstract

Examines the effects of anti-dynactin antibodies on organelle transport in extruded axoplasm, to determine whether the heteromultimeric protein complex, dynactin, is required for retrograde axonal transport. What treatment of axoplasm with antibodies to the p150...subunit of dynactin resulted in; Investigation of the molecular mechanism of the observed inhibition of motility; What the results indicate.
