Abstract
- A generalhydroazidation of unactivated alkynes using silver catalysisis reported. The reactions of diverse terminal alkynes with trimethylsilylazide (TMS-N3) in the presence of H2O affordedthe corresponding vinyl azides in good to excellent yields. This reactionhas a broad substrate scope, good functional group tolerance, simpleoperation, and high reaction efficiency, thus providing an easy accessto various functionalized vinyl azides.
