Psicología y lesión deportiva: Una breve introducción.

In this paper we analyse the state of the art regarding sports injuries from the Sport Psychology perspective. In the first section we introduce this concept, its definition, the most important variables (levels, causes, types) and the four models that explain the relationship between factors and vulnerability level to injury that is presented in table 1. In the second section, called "historical evolution in Spain", we make a record of the main research lines of different authors and groups in the field of sport psychology in Spain. Finally, in the third section the papers included in this monographic are introduced, being our contribution the first of them. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
