TRAINING SERVANT LEADERS FOR THE PASTOR LEADERSHIP TEAM AT HIGH VIEW BAPTIST CHURCH.

The purpose of this project is to train servant leaders to serve on the Pastor Leadership Team at High View Baptist Church. Prior to this project, High View did not have a process for developing servant leaders. In response to this absence of training, the candidate developed and implemented a training program that included retreats, mentoring, practical learning experience, and positive peer influence to prepare church members to serve on the Pastor Leadership Team. Over the course of four months, participants and the candidate learned the meaning of servant leadership and practiced related skills and attitudes in their church leadership positions.
