La construcción de la tecnocracia en León y su proyecto inacabado de participación social.

This article discusses the development of a technocratic society in León, Spain, during the latter half of the 20th century. The author comments on the influence of the technocracy on social and political participation in the region and describes the role of the León citizens in the public municipal administration of the province. He examines the importance of non-governmental agents and entities in the establishment of the technocracy as well as in public management. The influence of the government of León on other Spanish regions is also explored.
