Abstract

The article calls for the acknowledgment of autoethnography within interpersonal communication. It described the job of an analytic autoethnographer, a researcher who illustrates the relationship between lived experience and culture using personal narrative and ethnographic analysis. Also cited are some interpersonal scholars who have focused on the embedded and constitutive nature of interpersonal communication like Steve Duck and Julia Wood.
