Abstract

An essay is presented on the link of dialogue, criticisms and tradition to a worldly experience. Topics include an overview of the author's project on the essay's subject as well as the interviews he conducted with several Caribbean literary professionals, his first two interviews with Llyod Best and Stuart Hall, and a description of the dialogue that took place during his interviews. Also mentioned is the essay "The Problem of Generations" by Karl Mannheim.
