Functional effects of sex hormone-binding globulin variants.

The article discusses a study on single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) that affects its affinity for androgens or estrogens. Noted is the structure of each subunit of SHBG, which is consists of two laminin G-like domains.
