Abstract

The article reports that U.S. destroyed the deadliest components of Syria's chemical weapons material at an undisclosed site in the Mediterranean Sea. According to Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), military and civilian specialists neutralized 581.5 metric tons of methyl phosphonyl difluoride (DF), a chemical weapon used to make nerve agent sarin.
