Abstract

A box-grid type of secondary electron multiplier with ring-shaped dynodes has been constructed. In this multiplier, since the area of the later dynode becomes larger, output current shows no saturation by the space-charge effect at high current (70 µA). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
