Abstract

The article presents research on breast cancer and study on chemicals, biomarkers and environmental assessment tool that contribute to breast cancer risk. It mentions of a study led by author Ruthann Rudel and colleagues on 102 chemicals linked with mammary tumors in rodent and 91 of 102 chemicals were evidence of carcinogenicity in humans. It informs that epidemiologist Dora Il'yasova reflects on the difficulty while performing biomarker-based exposure assessments.
