The article reports on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict from February 16-May 15, 2014, including in regard to diplomacy, peace negotiations, violence in Gaza, Israeli settlers in the West Bank and the peace process. The role that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry played in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, including in regard to the Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmud Abbas' requirement of the release of Palestinian prisoners to continue negotiations, is discussed.
