Shakespeare at the Tabard.

The article examines manuscript notes in a portfolio of loose sheets of paper in Edinburgh University Library in Scotland which shows a glimpse of the life of English poet, playwright and actor William Shakespeare and his circle. Topics discussed include notes about the Southwark and Hackney boroughs in London, England, the use of the Tabard inn by Shakespeare's group as their headquarters and the great Southwark fire of 1676 which burned down the Tabard.
