Abstract: The article focuses on challenges faced by the photographic industry with respect to effective linking of images to their owners and rights related to those images. Topics discussed include views of Jeff Sedlik, president of Picture Licensing Use System (PLUS) Coalition, the National Press Photographers Association as a founding member of PLUS, and the need of photographers using photo Mechanic or Lightroom to use plug-in to register with PLUS.
