Abstract
- The article focuses on the passenger trains in Iraq traveling from Baghdad to Basra, along with the insights of Iraqi people on the railway industry in the country and the impact on the industry of the Islamic State (ISIS or ISIL), a militant group. Topics include the train from China which reflect progress in the country, the comment of Ehab al-Shiekhly, former railroad worker, on his memories of Iraq's railroads, and the support of the Iraqi Railways against terrorism.
