Abstract
- A spindle-shaped diffuse plasma cage is represented by photoreportage in the room-temperature atmospheric-pressure air. It is found that a closed plasma cage covered with diffuse plasma can be obtained only in an appropriate ring-ring electrode distance. By adjusting the ring-ring distance, we can destroy the closure property characterized by the appearance of corona or arc discharge on the surface of the cage. In addition, much larger plasma cage can be acquired using larger rings or adding more rings. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
