Abstract

The article discusses a hypothesis for how the fossil hominid Homo erectus (H. erectus) acquired small molars, small guts, terrestrial sleeping habits, and large brains like human beings (Homo sapien). The cooking hypothesis and 10 human innovations that reshaped hunting and the nature of human societies, such as weaponry, the use of jewellery and cosmetics, and sewing are discussed.
