Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 53-year-old man with diabetes and with end-stage renal disease. The hemodialysis patient had a six-week history of fever, multiple swellings over chest and lower limbs, cough, and dyspnea. Aspiration of the swellings over his chest and foot as well as blood cultures and sputum cultures were positive for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
