Abstract
- The article discusses the role of U.S. libraries in promoting November 2014's U.S. National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), which challenges authors to write the first draft of a novel in 30 days. Topics discussed include the holding of fiction-writing workshops at libraries, the "Come Write In" program held at District of Columbia Public Library (DCPL) in Washington, D.C. library branches, and the relative ease of implementing NaNoWriMo events at libraries.
