Abstract
- The article presents two case studies of fever, rush, and organ involvement during leprosy therapy. The first case involves a 65-year-old man who was diagnosed with borderline tuberculoid leprosy, while the other patient is a 39-year-old woman who was diagnosed with lepromatous leprosy. Both patients were given a final diagnosis of dapsone induced hypersensitivity syndrome, described as a life threatening condition in treating leprosy. A discussion about DDS Syndrome is also provided.
