Abstract

(J. Sep. Sci. 2014, 37 (22), 3245-3252) DOI: With the introduction of the iso-absorption plot, a new HPLC-DAD method was developed to simultaneously determine seven polyphenolic compounds (protocatechuic acid, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, p-coumaric acid, scutellarin, rosmarinic acid, and apigenin) in Qingfei mixture (QFM). Traditional herbal medicines (THM) and their preparation have been widely used for thousands of years in many oriental countries. However, the main challenge that hinders the application of THM is the quality control due to the heterogeneous quality. It could be shown that he newly developed analytical method is rapid, repeatable, sensitive and accurate. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
