Abstract
- The article discusses issues in the higher education sector in Great Britain as of late 2014, particularly the lack of a common standard in performance assessment of university degrees. Also cited are the 2012 paper "A Handbook for External Examining" from the Higher Education Academy, the position by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) on the issue, and the work of the Student Assessment and Classification Working Group on the topic.
