The article focuses on the aspects colonic polyps. Topics discussed include the most common form of colonic polyps which is the adenomatous neoplastic polyps considering its risk in high population and its recognition as pre-cursor lesion for invasive colorectal cancer, the impact of several methods on colorectal polyp management including endoscopy, endomucosal resection (EMR), and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), and the challenges brought by the development of management methods.
