Abstract
- The fall in potential difference (p.d.) across the gastric mucosa induced by aspirin has been studied before and after administration of carbenoxolone sodium in normal subjects. The subjects received 300 mg of carbenoxolone sodium daily for 14 days. The mean percentage fall in p.d. measured 10 cm distal to the cardia was unchanged.
