Abstract: A method has been developed for the oxidation of sulfides to sulfoxides on polystyrene resin. The polystyrene bound sulfoxide may be used in Swern oxidation reactions, and the used reagent may be regenerated by oxidation with tert-butylhydrogen peroxide.
