Abstract
- The experiments on the rabbits and dogs have revealed that in the initial period of endotoxin shock the number of secretory granules in the atrial cardiomyocytes decreases and vascular permeability increases due to transendothelial micropinocytosis. In the intermediate period of endotoxin shock the ultrastructural alterations progress. The development of ultrastructural manifestations of endotoxemia greatly depends on the condition of endocrine heart function.
