Abstract

This seventh paper in a review series on different aspects of chronic lung disease following preterm birth focuses on the current knowledge of respiratory symptoms, airway function, airway hyperresponsiveness, and exercise capacity from childhood to adulthood. This paper further considers the long-term implications of these studies for both future research and clinical practice.<br /> (Copyright 2006 Wiley-Liss, Inc.)
